Exfoliate Your Skin

You know you need to exfoliate to have a beautiful skin. But how often should you do it? Too little and your skin will look dull, too much and you will damage your skin. Well the answer depends not only on your skin type but also the type of exfoliator you use. Some exfoliators are not suitable for certain skin types.

So the first thing you need to do is decide what type of skin you have. There are 5 basic skin types Oily, Combination, Normal, Sensitive and Dry. I have recommended the types of exfoliator you should use depending on your skin type and how often you should use them bellow.

exfol

Oily. If you have oily skin you can generally exfoliate twice a week without any ill effects. You should use a mild exfoliator nothing too coarse. Mechanical exfoliators are generally the best ones to use for oily skin.

Combination. If you have combination skin, you need to exfoliate twice a week on your T panel (nose and forehead) and once a week on the rest of your body. You can use a mechanical or chemical exfoliant. I recommend using natural ingredients where possible.

Normal. If you have normal skin you should exfoliate once or twice a week. Choose a facial exfoliator that is mild and gentle to use. Exfoliating helps to brighten your skin as dead skin cells are removed. You can use either a mechanical or chemical exfoliator.
